Military “Y” Strainers (Staples & Pfeiffer)
Military Y-strainers are used to remove solids from liquid, gas, or steam applications in small volumes. Military Y-type strainers can be fitted with a blow-off connection on the cover, to permit cleaning the screen without removing the cover. Staples & Pfeiffer Y-strainers are offered in 150# and 250# class. Military Y-strainers can be provided in either ASTM B61 or ASTM C958 bronze. Strainers have been shock tested to MIL-S-901D and are fabricated to meet or exceed Mil-S-16293.

In-Line Flow, Bronze, ANSI Class 150 Flanged
Hellan Strainer’s line of Staples & Pfeiffer military Y-type Strainers are fabricated in sizes ranging from 1/2″ to 10″ NPS and are available in Bronze ASTM B61 or ASTM C-958 with 316 ss or Monel screens.
Model 141-B strainers are equipped with ANSI Class 150 flanges.
Sizes 3″ and below are fabricated to Mil-S-2953
