Manual Strainer Systems
All Hellan manual industrial strainers are manufactured to ISO-9001 and meet all codes: ASME, CE/PED, Lloyds Register, Navy Mil Specs, and others for industrial and marine environments. Our manual strainer systems are manufactured in sizes ranging from 1.5 inches to 20 inches in 5 available body styles to match application-specific requirements. All type AH, TSH, DH, QH, and HH models are offered in iron, steel, stainless, super duplex stainless steel, and bronze.

Type AH
Angled Flow Body, Single Screen
Cleaning of the type “AH” is accomplished by opening a valve on the sump flush connection and rotating the handwheel several times. The cleaning cycle must be performed while the strainer is under positive pressure. Type “AH” strainers are preferably installed in the vertical down-flow position as illustrated.

Type TSH
In-Line Flow Body, Single Screen
Available in 1 1/2″, 2″, 2 1/2″, and 3″ models. The “TSH” Hellan Manual Strainers employ a single handwheel-equipped rotating screen and a rigid scraper bar to remove solids from the surface area of the screen when the handwheel is rotated. A solid collecting sump is also provided

In-Line Flow Body, Two Screen
Available in 2 1/2″, 3″, 4″, 6″, 8″ 10″, and 12″ models. The “DH” Hellan Manual Strainers employ two handwheel equipped rotating screens and rigid scraper bars to remove solids from the surface area of the screens when the handwheels are rotated. A solids collecting sump is also provided.
Cleaning of the type “DH” is accomplished by opening a valve on the sump flush connection and rotating the handwheel several times. The cleaning cycle must be performed while the strainer is under positive pressure. Type “DH” strainers can be installed in the vertical up-flow position as illustrated or in the horizontal flow position with both screens in the horizontal plane, and the sump flush connection preferably located at the bottom.

DP Gauge & Switch, Diaphragm Type
Hellan ZH344G & ZH344H Aluminum Bronze Diaphragm Type DP Gauges provide outstanding capabilities not previously available in a modestly priced differential pressure gauge and switch. The Aluminum Bronze body along with Monel internals provides excellent corrosion resistance in sea water applications.
Common Applications: Filter/Strainer Monitoring, Compressed Air, Hydraulic, Refrigerant, Pump Performance Testing, Heat Exchanger Pressure Drop Monitoring, Water Treatment Applications, Tank Level Monitoring Horizontal or Vertical, Flow Monitoring and Balancing.
Quick Disconnect Coupling, with Switch
Hellan Fueling Hose 2 1/2″ Quick Disconnect Coupling with Switch allows for a safe, quick method for attachment to hoses.
Manufactured from Brass, the coupling is built to Grade A Shock MIL-C-19179.
