Our large automatic strainer systems are manufactured in sizes ranging from 1.5 inches to 20 inches in 5 available body styles to match application-specific requirements. All type AH, TSH, DH, QH, and HH models are offered in iron, steel, stainless, super duplex stainless steel, and bronze.

Hellan Automatic Strainers Type QA In-Line Flow Body, Four Screens

 Available in 14″ and 16″ models. Providing hands-free operation, Type QA large automatic strainers employ four, electric motor-driven rotating screen and rigid scraper bars to remove solids from the surface of the screen when rotated. A solids collecting sump is also provided. Cleaning of the Type QA is initiated when the motor and the flush valve operator are actuated. (Controls to accomplish these functions are required.)

The cleaning cycle must be performed while the strainer is under positive pressure. Type “QA” strainers are preferably installed in the vertical (up-flow) position as shown.

Hellan Automatic Strainers Type HA In-Line Flow Body, Six Screens

 Available in a 20″ model only. Providing hands-free operation, Type HA large automatic strainer systems employ six, electric motor-driven rotating screen and rigid scraper bars to remove solids from the surface of the screen when rotated.
